Fibromyalgia and Exercise (Still underconstuction)


If you have fibromyalgia, Exercise is the last thing on your mind. Just the thought of it is tiring! You are hurting enough and you don't want to make it any worse. It is important for you to have healthy strong muscles, the more you can move around the better movement you will have in your muscles.  

Exercise doesn't just help your muscles it also helps you get a better night sleep, reduces your stress levels, impoves your energy levelsas well as helping to control you weight.


Walking is one of the best exercise you can do as it is low impact, it is easily accessable and its free! Start walking slowly, set small goals. If walking hurts start by walking for a few minutes every day building on it gradually.

There are other activities other than walking you can do these include
Swimming, Tai-Chi and Yoga
