1st Birthday and AGM

On Saturday 12th May we had our 1st Birthday Celebration and AGM.
We started of the day by having our AGM, Jackie gave the members her report where she spoke of the things the group had done in the past 12 months asd wellas discussing the groups future plans.
Treasurer Doug gave us an acount of the groups finances. Then it was time to elect the committee for the forthcoming year.
There were only a few changes to the committee, Jackie Doug and Paula were all re-elected as Chairperson,Treasurer and Secretary. Anne was elected as Vice Chairperson. There were 2 new committee membersvoted on the committee, Lisa who helps out at our awareness days when we hold then and David who is going to look after the website for us.
To round up proceedings we had a question and answer session where members of the group were free to ask questions about the group and how it is run.
Once we had completed the group business, it was time for all of us to relax and enjoy a beautiful buffet lunch, where we are able to share of expereinces of the condition.
