The Persona

Captain Hesperus is a small grey feline from the fictional world of Orrira in the northernmost reaches of Galactic Chart 1. He is well known for his skill with a high-powered sniping rifle (most often used to plug Spammer-bots) and actually renowned (and immortalised in virtual print) for his crappy starship, the Python Class trading ship, the Dubious Profit. However, he is in fact most famous for his streak of bad luck that stretches from Alpha Centauri to Betelgeuse, which results in his scams and trading expeditions falling down around his pointy ears and leaving him with barely enough cash to pay his crew and make the bank loans he still owes.

The Person

Actually, Captain Hesperus is a medium sized, pinkish humanoid born in the factual town of Derby and deposited in various regions of Planet Earth on the whims of Her Majesty's Armed Forces. As a recent 31 year old, he presently resides in Hull, UK, and slightly outside the left side of his skull. He is married to a wonderful, irreplacable woman with two fantastic children. The children he will gladly swap for either a polite, considerate teenager or a 1:1 scale model of a Seldar Shipyards Imperial Courier. Only one of these swaps is remotely possible, but unlikely since there isn't any space in the garden for the Courier....
