Hi folks, welcome to the New Hughesd Forum!

Just a few of the usual Rules and Regs for all and sundry.

As mentioned in the Appropriate Content page:

  • Posts with swearing and/or adult terms are generally acceptable, within reason. If anyone feels offended by content posted by any other user, then you can PM them and/or a Bureaucrat (read: Moderator) or Sysop (read: Administrator) to delete the offensive material.
  • Pornographic material is not acceptable. Partial nudity may be acceptable, dependant on context, but depictions of sexual activity and/or visible genitalia will result in deletion of the material and the permanent banning of the user responsible.
  • Copyrighted material of any kind that is used without the copyright owner's consent will be removed and may result in suspension or banning.
  • We are open-minded in regard to the content of posts, but we do ask that you observe the basic rules of etiquette. Do not engage in, or initiate flame wars, please be mindful that other users 'mileage may vary' and, well, be nice to people. Creating posts simply to inflame others will not be tolerated.
  • These guidelines are subject to change and cases will be considered on an individual basis, but the Sysop and Bureaucrats' decisions will be final.

This is your forum and we encourage you to use them, but we only ask that you use them respectfully.

Captain Hesperus

Captain Hesperus is a small, grey-furred feline with a larcenous streak wider than the Milky Way and a propensity to long-ranged violence. He is also an accomplished flower arranger...

yeah, pretty much what he said. Bear in mind that on most issues Captain H's word is final - he's head honcho of the forum and it is his responsibility to refer to me any issues that he feels warrant the attention of a Sysop.

If I feel that something has been handled in a way I object to then I'll bring it up with the Cap.

As long as the appropriate content stuff is adhered to I don't really mind anything going on here. No rules (well, very few rules). It's still YOUR site, after all... ;-)
